AMBER HAZE

Amber Haze is a project that brings together radical improvisation, electronics and song. Influenced by contemporary electronics, dream-pop, noise and jazz.

 

The project was born in 2016 by an idea of singer/composer/electronic musician Francesca Palamidessi. 

All the compositions are oriented to an organic fusion between improvisation and composition, and to the research of a balance between electronic sounds and acoustic ones. It is a territory for experimenting with new languages with a particular attention to the voice, both sung and spoken.

Amber Haze features pianist Hendrik Lasure and drummer Casper Van De Velde (Belgium), but often welcomes collaborations with other musicians from all over Europe. 

 

Amber Haze's first record will be published and distributed next January by the Slovak label Hevhetia. In the meantime they keep performing around Europe in clubs and festivals.
